Nearly 30,000 customers were without power in Adams County on Friday morning, according to Xcel Energy. The utility’s outage map shows 27,783 customers, largely in Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn, had lost power as of 11 a.m. Xcel said on its outage map that its crews are assessing damage and did not offer an estimated time of restoration.
