Children's skin and hair products may contain harmful chemicals that could potentially put their health and development at risk.

The agency responsible for measuring the health issues of plant health products is concerned with the risk of neurological and behavioural disorders in young children, an assessment which takes place while the independence of the Anses is threatened.

On Thursday, 24 April, the health authorities warn about the harmful effect on human health of pesticides that are widely used in agriculture but also in domestic use, pointing in particular to risks for "the neurodevelopment of very young children", especially those exposed in utero.
