Nine years since Swedish-Iranian researcher imprisoned in Iran - Radio Sweden

On Friday, Ahmadreza Djalali, who has been imprisoned in Iran for nine years, told Belgian broadcaster VRT that he is at his breaking point and that Swedish and European decision-makers “will be partly responsible for my death.”

"I am at my breaking point," says Swedish-Iranian professor Ahmadreza Djalali in a new audio message. Tomorrow it will be exactly 9 years since Djalali was arrested in Iran. Since then he has been locked up in the notorious Evin prison in the capital Tehran. He risks being executed there. Djalali calls on the EU and the Swedish government to do more for his release.
