ARTESIA, N.M. (KRQE) – A man from New Mexico is facing charges for illegally obtaining Alaska resident hunting privileges. Alaska Wildlife Troopers learned that William Miller, 41, of Artesia, had obtained Alaska hunting & sportfishing licenses from 2021 to 2024 when he did not meet the definition of an Alaska resident for hunting and fishing purposes, according to officials.
