News: The abbey of Saint-Jacques under the magnifier of archaeologists in Provins (Seine-et-Marne)

Between February and April 2025, the archaeologists of the Inrap a right-of-way of 531 m2 in the enclosure of the Collège Lelorgne in the upper town of Provins upstream of the development of a basin of rainwater collection. Archaeologists will thus be able to explore the grounds of the former abbey of Saint-Jacques, where two cellars remain intact, and seek to analyse medieval and modern enclosures.
