Niger: People under pressure from armed groups in Tillabéry

In Niger, concern goes back to Makalondi, a town in Tillabéry, in the department of Torodi, about 100 kilometres south-west of Niamey, near the border with Burkina Faso. For several weeks, the inhabitants of Makalondi have been alerting to pressure from armed groups. And on the night of 6-7 April, a district of the commune was the scene of an attack that did not cause any victims, but material damage.
