The New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s plan to widen the two-lane expressway between Interchange 1 in Pennsville and 4 in Mount Laurel will require the purchase of 36 properties along the route.The authority’s board of commissioners authorized officials on Tuesday to start the process to buy or condemn the land.
