"There will be no more cows, no more birds": the anger of the residents against the project section on the RN 147

On Sunday, 6 April, some 100 local residents and environmental activists protested against the construction of an expressway on National Road 147, which connects Limoges and Poitiers. Despite these protests, some local elected officials and motorists consider it essential to build a section between Nieul and Couzeix. A public investigation is conducted by the State services.

After the goats, the cows are now also gone: the ecological village of Brodowin has economic problems. The oat milk boom and increased costs make the business with organic milk production difficult. However, the company wants to rely on another animal product.
