BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- Federal cuts are forcing a local nonprofit to make changes. The Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal is losing roughly $600,000 in federal funding. To make ends meet, they are letting go of more than half their employees. For reference, in 2023, they had 88 employees and currently have around 40.
