A tourist has won a court case against Zakopane in a case concerning the resort's collection of a local fee. The Supreme Administrative Court on Tuesday dismissed the city's appeal and thus upheld the judgment of the Regional Administrative Court in Kraków, which declared the resolution imposing such a fee invalid.

Zakopane had no legal basis to adopt a resolution regarding a local fee collected from tourists.
