Office of the Children ' s Ombudsman: between 2000 and 2024 deaths of minors by firearms increased by 122%

The institution will announce on Thursday its "Diagnosis on the situation of the rights of children and adolescents 2025", where it will also report that from 2018 to 2024 it increased from 4.3% to 5.9% the homicides consummated to NNA.

This was revealed by the "Diagnosis on the situation of the rights of children and adolescents 2025", of the Office of the Ombudsman for Children, which also reports that the homicides committed against minors rose from 4.3 per cent to 5.9 per cent between 2018 and 2024.
