One of two candidates to be chosen to head Manitoba’s Opposition party

WINNIPEG - Manitoba Progressive Conservatives are to announce a new leader today after roughly 11,000 party members were eligible to vote by mail-in and drop-box ballots in recent weeks.

Two candidates were competing for this race: Obby Khan and Wally Daudrich. The provincial MP for Fort Whyte had the favors of the party members. He will also immediately take up his role as leader of the official opposition during the resumed session on 5 May.
