In view of the increase in cases of yellow fever recorded in several countries in the Region of the Americas, particularly in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has launched an epidemiological alert.In the last year, 61 cases of yellow fever have been confirmed in the continent, with 30 fatal victims. Most of the cases had no history of vaccination, the Ministry of Public Health of Paraguay reported.
