Readers respond: Legislature should enact gun law now

Thank you for publishing a fact-based account of House Bill 3750, including the changes it makes to Measure 114, which was passed by Oregon voters in 2022, (“Bill advances to put Oregon’s Measure 114 gun control plan into effect,” April 9). It was most useful to be reminded why the sensible gun law Oregonians have been waiting for has yet to be implemented. I am looking forward to our Legislature finally getting the bill passed. If not now, when?
