Sándor Csányi is stepping down from the position of CEO of OTP after 33 years.

This was announced at the bank's annual general meeting, which was also attended by Viktor Orbán.

Orbán was also present at the general meeting, praising the achievements of the outgoing Sándor Csányi, and then was the first to congratulate Péter Csányi on his appointment as CEO.

The succession process at OTP has begun, with the main decision-making functions being separated.
