We end on Saturday 19th with the doubt what relationship do deficits and tariffs have with the “exorbitant privilege of the dollar”? And to move forward let’s just add something: a country with an external deficit generated mainly, as we already pointed out, by the excess of spending on income necessarily (as would happen to you) must become indebted (or receive gifts).
