Palmer High School evacuated for fire in mechanical room

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Students were evacuated from Palmer High School on Thursday afternoon, April 3 due to a fire in a mechanical room, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD). CSFD posted about the fire shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, and said students had been evacuated from the building and that Weber Street was closed from Boulder Street to Platte Avenue while crews responded.
