PCES briefly placed on lockdown - The Troy Messenger

Pike County Elementary School was put on lockdown this afternoon.  According to a statement from Pike County Schools, the 12:36 p.m. lockdown was in response to reports of an unidentified man on campus who had entered buildings.  The Brundidge Police Department and Pike County Sheriff’s Office responded and began to clear buildings.
