Russia's refined fuel exports hit an 11-month high shortly before the United States announced new sanctions against Russian tankers last Friday. And contrary to expectations, the data so far do not indicate that the new restrictions will crush Russian oil exports, according to Bloomberg. In fact, the sanctioned tankers account for only an order of magnitude lower than a percentage of Russian oil exports.
