When I went birding at Belle Isle State Park this weekend, I found black fabric lining the shoreline as a type of fence around a majority of the park. I didn’t know what it was, so I stopped at the Nature Center to ask the staff. They didn’t know, but a security guard said that often happens when they’re working on the trails around the park.
