BUCKTOWN — In spring 1979, Ray Reiss, a 24-year-old student at Columbia College Chicago, photographed about 100 children in the Bucktown neighborhood for a class project. Nineteen of the black-and-white photos survived a flood in his basement and are currently on display at the Bucktown-Wicker Park library, 1701 N.
