NEWBURY – Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. Newbury Police and Fire responded to a commercial building located in front of Pearson Plaza, Byfield, for a report of a suspicious item,  possibly a tampered-with firework or pipe bomb, which was located on the ground in the parking lot outside of the building.
