U.S. authorities announced Wednesday that two suspected victims of the notorious Long Island serial killer have been identified. The bodies, found in 1997 and 2011, appear to be those of Tanya Jackson and her toddler Tatiana Dykes.

A woman and toddler whose remains were discovered scattered along an oceanfront highway not far from the victims of Long Island’s infamous Gilgo Beach killings were identified Wednesday as an Army veteran from Alabama and her daughter.
