Two arrested in Paris over suspected terror plot, explosives found

Two men have been charged in Paris with conspiracy to commit a terrorist offence and possession of explosives and have been remanded in custody, the French national counter-terrorism prosecutor's office said.

In Paris, an Islamist-motivated attack may have been thwarted, and the police arrested three men with alleged ties to the terrorist militia ISIS.

On Sunday evening, 6 April, the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office confirmed the arrest and remand of an individual suspected of having prepared a violent action, and two of his relatives were arrested.
