Police: Man Stabbed and Robbed in Long Beach

A man was stabbed during a robbery in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday. Officers were dispatched at about 9:30 p.m. Friday to a reported stabbing in the 2800 block of Gale Avenue, alongside the Long Beach (710) Freeway a couple blocks south of Spring Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported. A 23 year old male was accosted by four knife wielding suspects in the Verulam CBD in KZN and robbed this morning. The victim was stabbed on his hand. The man broke free and ran to the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters for assistance. Paramedics found that the wound was superficial.
