More than 6,000 customers in Jefferson Parish are experiencing a power outage

(KRON) -- An unplanned power outage on the San Francisco Peninsula impacted approximately 36,000 customers Thursday, according to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. However, as of 3:20 p.m., the outage was fully restored. A power outage in the San Mateo area left about 36,000 PG&E customers in the dark Thursday morning, according to the utility. The outage was reported at 8:26 a.m., according to PG&E’s website.
