Radio Free Europe says Washington shut off its Russian broadcast despite restraining order

The satellite allowing the transmission of the Russian-language television channel of Radio Free Europe in Russia was extinguished on Thursday by Washington. In mid-March, Donald Trump had already issued a decree to freeze the financing of this media.

USAGM Terminates Some Satellite Broadcasts By RFE/RL's Current Time

The US Agency for Global Media (USAGM) has terminated contracts with two satellite systems that carry Russian-language content produced by Current Time, a network run by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, amid a fight over winding down operations at a number of U.S.-funded broadcasters.
