Reader Opinion: Appalled at dog park cost

I am appalled that the Baxter City Council is considering spending $367,000 taxpayer money for a dog park during this time of examining government spending. This averages to approximately $41 per Baxter resident, or $163 per Baxter family of four. Why should I be forced to pay this for someone else’s pet playground? What next, a cat playground? Also, can there be future liability issues for injuries occurring on this pet playground? I believe a …
