These dedicated runners have done every LA Marathon for nearly 4 decades

The Los Angeles Marathon celebrated its 40th running on Sunday with a capacity field of more than 26,000 runners, the second largest in the race's history, starting at Dodger Stadium with wheelchair racers beginning at 6:30 a.m. And the elite men's field at 7 a.m.
The McCourt Foundation, which owns and operates the Los Angeles Marathon, spearheaded the Together LA initiative to aid those affected by devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County, supported by organizations like New York Road Runners, the Chicago Marathon, and the Boston Athletic Association.
Several firefighters who battled January's wildfires participated in the marathon, including Greg Balandran of the Los Angeles Fire Department, who ran on behalf of the Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighters Fund.
The race course runs 26 miles and 385 yards from Dodger Stadium through various Los Angeles neighborhoods, finishing on Santa Monica Boulevard.
Dominic Ngeno won the men's race and Stacy Ndiwa won the women's race in 2024.
