Regina emergency services responded to a call shortly after midnight on Thursday about an injured man at a residence in the Al Ritchie neighbourhood. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation is under way.

Murder Charge Laid in Sudden Death on College Avenue

REGINA—A man from Regina is facing a charge of first degree murder, after a sudden death in the city early Thursday morning. Police officers found the injured man at the scene and attempted first aid, but he was pronounced dead by paramedics. The Regina Police Service said the man’s name “will not be released at this time.”

Death Investigation: 400 Block East College Avenue

The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have begun a death investigation.
