Human remains that were discovered in Utah in late March have been identified as a Texas man who went missing with his wife in Moab flooding last year.

The Grand County Sheriff's Office said that the human remains found in San Juan County on March 26, 2025 were identified. Human remains belong to Raymond Ankofski. Raymond, and his wife Maranda Ankofski, arrived on June 21, 2024 in the Steel Bender Trail area along Millcreek.
