It is thanks to the determination of his goddaughter, admiring the courage and patriotism of André Vy, that the journey of this resistant Creusian, then secretary general of the Prefecture of the Creuse, is brought to light, 80 years after his death in deportation. A plaque commemorating his sacrifice is now visible in the building of the Prefecture.
