Prisons should not be immune from prosecution, says head of Scottish prisons
They’ve been fighting for justice for eight years. This morning the families of two young people who took their own lives inside Scotland’s largest young offenders institute, finally met the head of the Scottish Prison Service. She agreed with them that rules which prevent state prisons from being prosecuted for safety failures need to change.
