SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- The Chatham County Board of Commissioners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning for the Honorable Eugene H. Gadsden Courthouse. Judge Eugene H. Gadsden Judge Eugene H. Gadsden was a native son of Savannah, a trained lawyer who was instrumental in guiding the community during the Civil Rights Movement and was the first African American Superior Court judge for the Superior Court of Chatham County.
