Regarding the upcoming Upper House election in Ishikawa Prefecture (one seat up for election), the prefectural chapter leaders of the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People met in Kanazawa City on the 9th and agreed to unify their candidates to run against the incumbent LDP member. They will hold another meeting within the month to begin the selection process.
