Residents fear road collapsed for a third time due to floods

In the 2023 floods, more than 820 kilometers of forest roads were damaged in the area of the Slovenjgrad unit of the Slovenian Forest Service (ZGS), which represents more than half of all forest roads in the region. These are important in Carinthia for many residents who use them daily for transportation to the valleys. Municipalities are continuing with road rehabilitation this year.
