April 18, 2025 Bernalillo County, N.M. – Despite rigorous life-saving efforts, an inmate died Friday at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). The individual who passed away has been identified as Steven Gurule, age 33, (DOB: 11/16/1991). Gurule was booked into MDC on Jan. 23, 2024.
