Rockford woman accused of battering a pregnant victim; officer draws taser

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Shyla Avilla, 29, for battery of a pregnant woman, among other charges. On April 2, around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Lamar Street for reports of two women fighting. A witness showed deputies where the incident was still happening.
