Rome looking to demolition warehouse, Long's Auto Electric

The city's Board of Estimate and Contract has put the demolition work for both buildings out to bid. Long's Auto Electric at 425 Erie Blvd. West has been empty for years and is currently owned by Joanna R. George of Oakwood St., according to city tax records. The Rome Common Council approved $130,000 to purchase the property in November. The warehouse at 328 Ridge St. is owned by Valarity, of Calvert Street, according to tax records.
