Match Report: Litherland REMYCA (H) - FC Isle of Man

Summary
FC Isle of Man were architects of their own downfall on Saturday, gifting the visitors two second half goals in a 2-3 defeat. The result leaves the Ravens in 15th in the NWCFL Premier Division. The visitors took the lead in just the fourth minute as James Hammill cut through the defence like a hot knife through butter, allowing Joel Ogiugo to swivel and get a shot off which Jacob Crook tried in vain to block, only for it to bobble into the corner. Crook almost struck back straight away as he climbed highest to meet Kyle Watson’s header, but having looped it over the keeper it was headed off the line. Skipper Sean Doyle had a chance to draw level when he went through in the 17th minute, he went round keeper Patrick McLoughlin but was unable to turn it home. Moments later Callum Sherry had a chance to level as Ste Whitley laid the ball back after good play on the wing, but he got too much underneath it and fired over.
