Ruling to raise gender pay could cost other workers $300 a week

The Australian Services Union will challenge a Fair Work Commission decision due to concerns it perversely sends thousands of social workers’ pay backwards.

"The idea of men as sole breadwinners is absurd. Czech families can't even survive on one income," say union lawyer Šárka Homfray and career counselor Lucie Václavková. They may win the Magnesia Litera award for their book Pay Gap.
