RUM Oral History Laboratory Receives Millionaire Grant from Mellon Foundation - Mayagüez University Campus of the University of Puerto Rico

The Oral History Laboratory (OHL), attached to the General Library and the English Department of the Mayagüez University Campus (RUM), received a grant of $1,833,000 from the Mellon Foundation for a period of three years. This important investment will allow to expand and deepen its pedagogical model as a response to natural disasters, as well as its approach to narratives of oral history to encourage mutual assistance in Puerto Rico.
