Russia attacks the “British elite” for the register of foreign influence. Zakharova: “Demonstrates paranoid schizophrenia”

Russia on Wednesday criticized new United Kingdom (UK) rules on surveillance of individuals working for the Russian government, calling them crazy.

Russia said on Wednesday that the British elite had demonstrated its paranoia and intellectual inferiority by proposing to place anyone working for the Russian state at the highest level of its future foreign influence registration program, Reuters reports.

Russia today described as insane the restrictions imposed on those who work for Moscow in the United Kingdom, who will now have to register in a system of controlling “foreign influences”, under penalty of imprisonment.
