Massacres in Congo are increasing. The government accuses Rwanda of trying to steal its minerals.

Fighting between rebels and the army near the Congolese city of Goma killed 700 people and injured 2,800 between Sunday and Thursday, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said, adding that the figures had been confirmed by the World Health Organization in cooperation with government authorities.
