After helping four different women’s basketball programs reach the NCAA Tournament as an associate head coach and assistant coach, Jonas Chatterton will try to guide San Jose State to the Big Dance for the first time in the program’s history. San Jose State has hired Jonas Chatterton as its new women’s basketball head coach, according to a source familiar with the program’s decision. This will be Chatterton’s first head-coaching stint. Chatterton replaces April Phillips, who was let go last month after three underwhelming seasons at the helm.
