San Rafael man accused of assault during robbery

San Rafael police arrested a man suspected of injuring a security guard with a knife during a robbery. The incident was reported at about 4 p.m. Monday at Macy’s. Security confronted the suspect after he stole merchandise from the department store at Northgate mall, police Sgt. Justin Graham reported.
