The Town will cut a $614 cheque to a Southampton couple who overpaid condo taxes due to an error by Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). Town Council agreed it was the “right thing to do” and approved a staff recommendation for reimbursements for MPAC palpable errors that are more than two years prior to the resident’s applications that are less than $1,000.
