Sanger's Chief Garner steps down

Sanger Police Chief Greg Garner stepped down from his position on Monday.  Commander Joshua Johnson is filling in as Sanger’s acting police chief.  The big picture: Garner leaves the city over four years after he was hired as the chief, which followed a stint as the Selma Police Chief and 34 years serving with the Fresno Police Department.  Sanger did not reveal any information regarding the reasons for Garner’s departure.  City Manager Nathan …
