Secretary of State of the Portuguese MNE met with Mondlane in Maputo

A note from the Office of the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs published on the social network X indicates that, at the meeting, Nuno Sampaio welcomed the “path of dialogue initiated” between Venâncio Mondlane, the main opponent of the party in power since independence in Mozambique (1975), and Daniel Chapo, president already sworn in and whose candidacy was supported by Frelimo.
