Extremely rare: white-tailed eagle pair gets three boys

Experts classify it as a sensation: a pair of white-tailed eagles in Duisburg got three young animals. The huge birds of prey were formerly considered almost extinct. The family should not be disturbed.

After Xanten there is a second breeding pair among the white-tailed eagles on the Lower Rhine. In the Walsum Rheinaue chicks have been sighted. Around the nest a restricted zone was established.

Experts speak of a highlight: A pair of white-tailed eagles has hatched three chicks in Duisburg. The fluffy bird babies are now alerted in red.
